FanMint is pioneering a new financial asset class that gives Athletes, Artists, Entertainers, and Teams a chance to share their success with their most important stakeholders - their Fans.
Our regulations-compliant platform allows these Influencers (as Issuers) to raise capital from Fans (as Investors) through the purchase and sale of digital securities, tied to the Issuer’s income, revenue, or royalty streams. Additionally, Issuers may offer experiential benefits such as exclusive merchandise, meet-and-greets, preferential seating, and other unique benefits to enhance their connection to their Fans.
Influencers will be able to raise funds from Fans with their own branded debt and equity security tokens. This unlocks liquidity on long-term contracts and intangible assets, providing upfront capital to finance new projects. A range of issuance options are available for both accredited and non-accredited investors using private placement and crowdfunding.
With a vested interest in an Influencer’s career, Fans are granted the opportunity to engage with their idols in an entirely new way - investing in upside, receiving dividends, and trading with other fans. Fans may also receive experiential benefits, and holding FanMint Tokens entitle them to participate in Influencer votes taking place on the platform.
FanMint’s native “FanMint Token” is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain that allows both Fans and Influencers to transact in a secure environment. Tokens will be minted and traded on a non-custodial, decentralized marketplace. Users will be able to trade FanMint Tokens, Team Loyalty Tokens™ and Branded Influencer Tokens™, along with highly liquid cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
The FanMint ecosystem will support Decentralized Finance (DeFi) infrastructure, as permitted by regulations. FanMint will utilize the Polkadot Parachain, with plans to implement additional cross-chain interoperability in the future.
Our non-custodial model is compliant with the SEC’s Sept. 25, 2020 response to FINRA with regard to settlement of digital asset security trades.
Digital security offerings will be made through Reg D, Reg S, Reg CF, and Reg A+ to accommodate both accredited and non-accredited investors.
Our platform will allow real-time settlement of trades and validation of market data.
Digital securities will be issued with “positive control,” providing safety to investors through freeze, burn, and reissue functions.
